PlayStation Plus November 2019 Lineup: What a treat!
By Sohrab Khan 30 Oct, 19
Things just went from crazy to “Holy… Cow!” as PlayStation Plus just revealed its line-up for the much-awaited month of November. Of course, we have Halloween, where all those spooky things take place. Naturally, PlayStation boffins took every advantage of the fact that it is Halloween. The line-up they chose could not have been better, more befitting than this!
Welcome everyone to arguably one of the craziest line-ups by a country mile! Before we do go ahead, though, be sure to grab your titles for the month of October 2019. The Last of Us: Remastered and The MLB 19 are still up.
We begin with the first one: Nioh – That badass game with the ninja samurai. A sword-wielding, slashing and cutting dude, who kind of looks a lot like the guy from Witcher series. If you haven’t played this gem of a game, I seriously question your claim of being a gamer. This incredible role-playing game won various accolades and high praise from the best in the business. Sure enough, there has to be something worth seeing.
The gameplay is a little slow to my taste (I confess, I am a little biased for DMC-styled games), but nonetheless, the dude’s got a sword, and that alone looks mean. The story is gripping, the way your character fights packs quite a punch. The graphics are brilliant, to say the least. If you have a PS4 Pro and a 4K TV, I want your address because I would love to try this in full 4K resolution.
Do clear up space and wait for this game. You will be thanking me later! Moving on to our second or first… You know what! It is one of the craziest games I have played in a long time.
No, that is not the title! We are referring to those scary and hideous monstrosities that we must hide from and outrun in the world of Outlast 2. Here’s a little confession: I just bought Outlast 1 for $4.99 a couple of days ago, can you imagine the sheer excitement to know I am getting the other version for free? Talk about luck!
This Halloween cannot get any creepier than this. Outlast 2 pits you as a guy who has nothing more than just a handy-cam (for the younger members of the audience, that’s a camera). Our mission initially is to check out the issues within a specific place where all hell breaks loose.
You cannot fight, you cannot do anything but to use the night-vision on your camera to explore the eerie dark corners and corridors. Run and hide from these… Things, otherwise, they will quite literally rip you apart.
Here’s a little alert: This game is not for the weak-hearted. The game involves quite a bit of gore and violence.
But then again, this is Halloween. With that said, I leave you with a bag full of tricks and treats! Enjoy a hearty dose of jump-scares and nerve-wracking survival in both these games. Till the next time!
