PS Plus August 2020 Lineup Revealed
By Sohrab Khan 28 Jul, 20
Apparently, Sony has had a change of heart. For the second month in a row, they have gone on to reveal their lineup of free titles on the last Monday of the month, as opposed to the traditional Wednesday. However, what’s done is done. All we can do is to welcome the next lineup with a bit of mixed feelings.
The month of July has been nothing short of spectacular. To begin with, we have some exquisite games, such as the Ghost of Tsushima, which took the charts by storm. Then, we had a good lineup, followed by an excellent summer sale that is currently on. Now, all eyes were glued to find out what Sony would be offering that could match the intensity and hype of the month. Unfortunately, the answer isn’t exactly encouraging, but in the spirit of gaming, let’s find out what we are being offered for the month of August.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered
First of all, do not confuse this for the recent installation that was released. The COD:MW2 remastered is exactly the same game as before, with all the beloved characters like Ghost, but with higher definition graphics.
You still get the incredibly smooth frame rate per second (FPS), and you still get that action-packed campaign we all fell in love with. However, that is all there is to it. It does not include any DLCs.
I remember playing the original one, and it still stands as one of my all-time favorite entries in the COD franchise. I am honestly looking forward to play this out, but not for the reason you might think. Since I do not really have a choice, I guess I must learn to love whatever is being offered.
Honestly, I have never heard of this one, never played this, nor seen any of my friends even mentioning it. This was a bit of a surprise.
For those who are interested in family fun games, this may just be the thing you are looking for. You compete online with other team members, and take part in hilarious races and events. Those who survive, win.
The physics seem simple, but the trailer does give some promising vibes about this game. I will have to play this one out myself to find out more.
And that brings an end to the monthly lineup of PS Plus for the month of August 2020. You do not have to wait that long either as these games go live later tonight. If you are in Pakistan, you can still grab the previous month’s lineup for free before 9 PM, after which the new lineup will replace the titles.
Let us know what you think about the lineup. Is it a worthy lineup, or is it just another horrible blow for the gamers? Until next time, take care and stay safe.
