Suicide Squad and a possible Batman Game

After a series of teasers and tons of leaks, the two long-awaited DC games are finally making a debut and fans are all in for it. DC has organized a 24-hour mega virtual convention on 22nd August called the DC FanDome and has recently disclosed the panel lineup for the event. Among the lineup will be the first look on the two most-awaited and anticipated games based on the DC characters. The decision made by DC to host this 24-hour event was due to the cancellation of San Diego Comic-Con this year. The panel would last for around 20 minutes.

The panel description says: "Will Arnett hosts the highly anticipated video game reveal from Rocksteady Studios, creators of the Batman: Arkham franchise." Rocksteady Studios had previously announced that it is working on a Suicide Squad video game and will announce further details at the FanDome event on 22nd August. The name of the Suicide Squad game has been confirmed and it is said to be “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”. This game is said to be the studio's follow-up to the Batman: Arkham franchise. The only official information we have right now is a photo of Superman in the Suicide Squad's crosshairs that Rocksteady tweeted on August 7, 2020.

Another game that is confirmed to be on the panel lineup at the FanDome event is WB Games Montreal's currently untitled Batman game, the studio's first since Batman: Arkham Origins. Last year on Batman Day, the studio had released teaser images for the game and earlier this year one additional teaser of another logo and website had been released, but after that, no further announcements had been made. The Montreal game panel schedule includes the following description, "Gamers! You won’t want to miss this first look at an exciting new game, and Q&A with its developers."

For several years now, teasers from the studio have led the fans to believe WB Games Montreal's possible Batman game will feature some form of Court of Owls adaptation, but no official details have been released yet. The panel has promised an announcement and first look at the game on 22nd August.

The panel will consist of the games mentioned above and it will also include the creators and casts from movies such as Aquaman, The Flash and Shazam! It's a chance for the fans to catch up on all the news, announcements, and reveals related to DC Comics.

DC fans have been waiting for the release of these two games since a while now and the announcement of FanDome was a big news for them. Fans are hoping to see the Court of Owls adaptation being featured in the Batman game and are looking forward to seeing their expectations being met. They are also hoping that there will be no further delay and these two games would be released to the public soon. All DC fans have marked their calendars for 22nd August and are now desperately waiting to get a first look on these promising games.
