The Unusual Entry – PS Plus June 2020 Lineup

By Sohrab Khan 25 May, 20

June is supposed to be a massive month for all gaming enthusiasts. Whether you are an Xbox player or a PlayStation supporter, both the platforms are to expect massive updates in various gaming events which are to follow in June. And let us not forget, the biggest launch in the history (possibly) is just weeks away before we can slip back into the boots of dear old Ellie, partnered with Joel, in The Last Of Us Part 2. However, before all of that, we have to cater to our PS Plus June Lineup.

Normally, if a month as significant as June is on the calendars, we do not expect Sony to pull off incredible stunts. This was quite evident in the last month’s lineup which featured Farming Simulator 19 and that city building game. I was just scrolling through twitter and to my shock, Sony announced the first game that would be headlining the PS Plus lineup for June 2020 just half an hour ago. Ready for it?

Call Of Duty: WWII

Oh My God! Either Sony has lost it, or it is doing what no other gaming platform could ever do. COD: WWII is one of the finest FPS games I have played in a long time. The Rich story line, the intense gameplay and off the charts online multiplayer mode, there is so much going on in this game. It is absolutely a gem to have in your library.

The game scored significantly as well, mustering praises all around in general. The gameplay is a solid walk through the pages of history, and it allows you to immerse yourself into the battlefield unlike any other game I have known.

Here’s the next surprise; You can download this starting from 26th of May, 2020. That’s tomorrow! Time to clear some space!

Additional Details Coming Soon

Sony ended the tweet stating that additional details regarding the June lineup would be shared later this week. I am guessing the usual last Wednesday of the month is where they will do so. Whatever the next selection of game it would be, I assure you that I am not at all disappointed. They have certainly heard the fans and delivered one of the finest games as a way to apologize for the weird selection of games last month.

That is it for now. I shall be back on Wednesday with more updates. Stay tuned for Part 2. Take care!
